Taking Your Paper Online
My High School Journalism
ASNE, the creator and sponsor of us is expanding its commitment to scholastic writing through easy essay paper writer, a service for hosting high school essay writing online that is available to all U.S. high schools.

We supply the Web space and software for newspaper creation. You supply the content – stories, art and talent. We only ask that you update your site at least once a month during the academic year and keep us up-to-date about the status of your newspaper, the adviser and contact information. (As a non-profit organization, we will not sell this information.)

The site is easy to use and navigate for users and staffers.

Your site will have a unique URL based on your state, city and school name. You’ll be able to customize its appearance by using your school colors and masthead. In addition to the front page of each issue, there will be areas for news, sports, features, columns and opinions. Another big benefit: All contents can be archived and searched.

You’ll be able to look at what other students around the country have been able to do with our index of other school papers.

In addition, your newspaper's work will be eligible for our National Edition, a weekly effort to highlight some of the most interesting and relevent work done by teen journalists.

We have set up a page of system screenshots so you can get an idea of how it works. It shows the main screen, the story editing screen and the teacher article approval screen. Here is a list of schools who are already online with the system.

To sign up for the service, a school official (a teacher or an administrator) needs to completely fill out the registration form and mail it along with an official school check for $25 (please do not send purchase orders). Once you pay the registration fee, there are no other charges – the service is free.

We will then activate your Web space, user name and password. We’ll e-mail your information to the address you supplied to us. When you get it, you can start work immediately.

For the price of registration, we will also send you publications to help build your journalism library: The Associated Press Stylebook, the Principal's Guide to Scholastic Journalism and a guide to scholastic press law.

To apply, please fill out the registration form (You will need Acrobat Reader.) Click this link to get the application form.
